According to a new Morning Consult survey conducted over the
weekend, 57% of voters say the United States is facing “a crisis of
illegal immigration across the U.S.-Mexico border” — the highest
we’ve measured on a question posed during the presidencies of Joe
    Biden and Donald Trump.

The share of voters who perceive a crisis includes 76% of Republican
voters, up from 74% nearly three years ago, and 53% of independents,
up from 50% over that same time period. It also includes 41% of
Democrats, which is up from 31% during the opening months of Biden’s presidency, though a slightly larger share say the situation at the
border is just a problem, or is not a problem at all.

The results in the Feb. 3-4 survey come as the latest bipartisan
immigration push in the Senate looks headed for the chopping block
as lawmakers on Capitol Hill continue to grapple with a policy
debate they have been unable to resolve for years. As our recent
swing-state surveys with Bloomberg News underlined, immigration
continues to be a bad issue for Biden and the Democrats, which
Republicans are working to highlight with their impeachment effort
against Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas.

Democrats have accused Republicans of playing politics with the
matter, pointing to the push among conservatives at former President
Donald Trump’s urging to kill the Senate’s bipartisan effort before
its text was even revealed. But at this point, it’s the party in
charge of the White House that’s taking the bulk of voters’ blame
for the problems on the Southern border.

We have freedom of expression and freedom of association so why can't we
just leave the man in peace to interview and talk with who ever he wants?

I find it absurd that people have such strong opinions about who he should
    or should not talk about.

They key is that if you don't like it, you don't have to listen to it.
That's my opinion and I utilize this technique (not listening to sh*t)
very often and I'd say that everyone here who isn't already doing so
    should try it. =)

You want Ukraine to give up territory for peace? Do you think the United States should

Let me add something to this, because I had argument with journalists
about it. Yes, news is news, but you can choose when to publish and what
    to focus on.

For instance, let me give you an example where I disagreed. A journalist
in the swedish newspaper I read choose to focus heavily on Selensky
dismissing his military chief, and heavily implying that Ukraine will
    fall.

I argued that it could be mentioned, sure, but the argument that Ukraine
will fall does not follow from the fact of the dismissal.

This journalist (militant feminist) argued that it is her d*mn right to
publish everything and at all times, and that she was doing journalism a service.

Needless to say, we agreed to disagree. ;)

You are actually not answering any of my arguments. In the west, you can
be "friends" with anyone you want, including killers and dictators.

I'd argue that by holding the position you hold, you are actually
turning the west into russia. That must be avoided at all cost.

As for your questions about ukraine, I won't even dignify them with an
    answer.
