THE VILLAGES, Fla. (TND) — A 43-year-old man who lives with his parents
became "irate" when his mom would not give him money to buy marijuana,
deputies say.
His "screaming and yelling" led to a felony charge of battery on a person
65 or older.
The trouble took place in Florida on Super Bowl Sunday.
According to the arrest report, his mother said “an argument had occurred
over her not giving money to [her son, Thomas Leopold Milcznski] to buy marijuana.
“The defendant began to get irate, which led to him screaming and yelling
at the victim.
“The defendant eventually started throwing pillows at her and one of them struck the victim in the face.”
She apparently wasn’t physically hurt.
The deputy also wrote, “I could not speak with the defendant at the time
due to him fleeing the scene prior to my arrival.”
That was shortly after 5 p.m.
Milcznski returned home just before 8 and his mom called the deputy back.
“I made contact with the defendant,” the deputy wrote, “who refused to
listen and would not allow me to read him his Miranda rights, and would
not speak with me regarding the incident.”
He was arrested on the felony battery charge and released from jail after
15 hours.
No word where he's staying now.
