Philadelphia's 'billion-dollar drug market' is home to a third
of all drug-law violations with 376 arrests per square mile
compared to just 16 in other parts of city

Cops in the Kensington neighborhood recorded 921 narcotics and
drug-law violations across 2023

It's an alarming rate considering the 1,630 offenses that took
place elsewhere

At least the cops are TRYING to intervene ... until
they're totally "defunded" by the Woke and civ just
crumbles.

Drug laws have plusses and minuses. Seems that no matter
how you write them there are significant problems/expenses.

The Big PROBLEM here is that it seems a LARGE proportion
of the pop are serious dope-heads. Sorry, but civs just
CANNOT work on that paradigm. Things get worse and worse
until it's pure Mad Max or worse. Then EVERYBODY/EVERYTHING
gets dragged into the Dark Ages pit.

Sometime in the 50s/60s the USA decided that it'd
"made it" - prosperity forever and ever for sure.
All sorts of inefficiencies could be tolerated
because a Wonderful Future was guaranteed. The
hippy-dippies roamed free, parasites, but we
could SUPPORT some parasites.

Well - WASN'T TRUE, not at all. Alas that old
PSYCHOLOGY, along with some crap (but not always)
tales of institutional racism, seems to remain
amongst the further 'left'/Wokie and it is STILL
shaping the law and application thereof. Alas
it is a mindset 60+ years out of date, beyond
reality.

Dealing with humans is like trying to herd cats.
This has always been the case. About the best any
State can do is trying to manage the 'extremes'
so the more sensible center can actually Make
Things Work. Sorry, but ideology won't cut it
here ... Real is Real and the numbers have to
add up OR ELSE.

A multi-megabuck dope market in Philly ... that
WILL NOT WORK. MOST people need to be straight
MOST of the time. Yea ... less 'fun', but it's
a survivable paradigm.

No, I'm not suggesting going Full Fascist on
the dope-heads. That's no good -indeed tends
to spawn more/nastier crime. Yet, SOME kind
of restraint and anti-dope ed IS required if
the Functional Paradigm is to be realized.

As I said above, NO Perfect Solutions. However
FUNCTIONAL solutions ARE an absolute necessity.
Philly, and a few other big cities, seem on track
for an absolute implosion. Best Intentions gone
terribly wrong.

Soon, very soon, Auntie Entity and friends ....

SOME 'anarchists' might LIKE that - beware.
Some are on your city councils, important
soc/pol pressure orgs, the judicial benches.

There IS a workable, safe(ish) path between
the extremes. Alas the rads want anything BUT.
