along the interstate with its hazard lights on around 1:30am

That ain't heroin ... well, maybe some of it. It's one
of the new mixed drug cocktails - heroin boosted
by one or more even stronger drugs.
And why are people taking this stuff ? Simple - because
of the 'drug war'. Our holy righteous drug warriors decided
to make it a lot harder to get those predictable pills - oxys
and roxys and vicodins and such - in order to save everyone
from drug addiction. Why, without the pills everybody was
just SURE to instantly turn into good Jeezus-lovin' sober
citizens !
Nope.
Instead they turned left and went to visit their friendly local
junk dealers. Anyone could have predicted it ... well, anyone
except our high holy puritan drug warriors, lords of the
public state-of-mind.
