dec 15 2021 The woman killed in a harrowing pre-dawn crash allegedly caused by former Las Vegas Raiders wideout Henry Ruggs III burned to death, a coroner has determined.
Tina Tintor, 23, died of “thermal injuries” on Nov. 2 when Ruggs allegedly plowed his Corvette — which prosecutors said was speeding as fast as 156 mph — into her Toyota RAV4.
Prosecutors said Ruggs’ blood alcohol content was later shown to be .161, or more than double the legal limit. He’s been charged with felony counts of DUI resulting in death and reckless driving and faces up to 40 years if convicted.
Ruggs remains on house arrest under strict conditions, including alcohol monitoring via a device attached to his leg, after posting $150,000 bail.
The next court date for the former Raiders emerging star is a status check on Jan. 4, followed by a preliminary hearing on March 10, the Review-Journal reported.
