Houthi attack on Red Sea ship causes massive oil slick

The US military said the Rubymar bulk carrier sustained
"significant damage" in an attack by the Iran-backed rebels.
The vessel was carrying 41,000 tons of fertilizer, which
has the potential to spill into the sea.

    . . .

The Houthi seem to be improving their accuracy ...

And the allied shield is more like a screen door.

And apparently their resources are spread widely
enough, moved often enough, to largely evade allied
attempts to suppress their fire. I suspect it would
take a series of large raids with to-the-minute
sat recon and extra from spies. Don't see that
happening. Basically we're blowing up dirt and
    claiming victory - politics-as-usual.

I think our enemies, large and small, are kind of
just overwhelming US/EU resources - the proverbial
thousand cuts. As pretty much everybody is running
on a deficit "economy" and SO much production has
been outsourced to one particular enemy .......
