Fighter jets fail to locate new 'airborne object' detected
over Montana after military shut down airspace over 'radar
anomaly' - hours after US F-22 shoots down 'small cylindrical
    object' over Canada

    . . .

    Wow - ANOTHER one !!!

Thing is, China/NK/Russia, will now be FUCKING with
us. The big balloon became a political liability, so from
now on they'll respond aggressively to most *anything*.

That means our enemies can just put up a few little balloons
a week and put us in a PANIC. The balloons don't have to be
very large or do ANYTHING (but a small nonsense transmitter
inside - worth a few bucks - would be a good for the "bait"
    aspect).

A mere five or ten foot balloon dangling some radar-target
foil strips and at least looking like it has some solar
panels ..... our jets will be busy busy busy and Xi will
be laughing. A super-cheap way to cost us umpteen millions.

And no, we CAN'T ignore even one of them. A few really will
have spy equipment onboard (probably rigged to self-destruct
    in case of interception).

You think US intel won't be able to tell the difference?

Don't you miss the Trump days, when balloon
overflights were kept from the public and otherwise
    ignored?
