    No argument here.

After serving for 20 years as the Scott County Coroner, John
Goble, 68, resigned from his position at midnight Wednesday
morning just hours before he pleaded guilty to a felony count of
conspiracy to defraud the United States government.

Goble, also a former state trooper, pleaded guilty before Judge
Gregory Van Tatenhove Wednesday morning. He admitted to
conspiring with another trooper to secure weapons and nearly
$40,000 worth of ammunition that belonged to the state police
    supply branch in Frankfort.

There's probably a LOT more of this than you'd think.
Govt supply lines are large and complex and there are
going to be many ways to tap into the process in ways
that won't draw much attention for quite awhile.

Obviously the doc and friends didn't grasp that "quite
    awhile" does not mean "forever".

Any time there's a "system" there WILL be perps who
find a way to corrupt/exploit/game it.
