That Houston nuke scene in Independence Day
when the armoured vehicle's periscope spazzes
out from the EMP and reboots.
The last two seem like CRC checks, except:
- It's not 0-9, A-F like you would expect
- It's extremely unlikely that even using base 26
and representing it with only letters that the CRC
values of both ROM and whatever is running in
RAM would start with the same 3 letters.
