    waiting for the pain to fade. tryssa keeps urging me to take
    painkillers, but i figure the wheel's squeaky for a reason.

    That's more or less how I feel about pain as well.
    And yet...I've discovered that pain means I don't sleep as well at night.
    So on those mornings when I wake up at 1:30 am for no discernable reason, I take an analgesic.

    The following 24 hrs. tend to go much better that way.
