$5 Billion dangling carrot.
The former Afghanistan government was getting $5 billion already, but much of it
military aid. Switch it to humanitarian and industrialization aid, IF AND ONLY IF, the Taliban agree to recognize human rights. They could come to us with this
deal, or we could come to them with it.
(This is in addition to the $50-$100 billion the U.S. was spending itself on the
war effort there... somehow. According to Brown University. Did we pay for all
of NATO? $50Bill/10,000 NATO soldiers = $5,000,000 a soldier, per year?
