Trump, when asked about "downplaying the severity of the virus," said "you want calmness," and:
Trump: "We're 85% better in terms of fatalities" "You look at the kind of numbers,
I don't know if you've been seeing this," "We're really *rounding* the corner."
Trump: "We're pretty close to a cure." "The Vaccine itself," "It could come Out In
October."
So the President is betting on life, and being an optimist. Yet 1,000's die.

Worldometer: Fatalities:
Sep 11th +1,094
Sep 10th +1,089
Sep 9th +1,208
Sep 8th +496
Sep 7th +286
Sep 6th +430
Sep 5th +707
Sep 4th +1,033
Sep 3th +1,114
Sep 2nd +1,090
Total 10 Days: 8,547
Average 10 days: 854
So that's 15% better in terms of fatalities - Thus, actually true if turned around
- makes the 85% sound great! Seems the President wasn't lying.
Guardian, 14 Sep 2020:"scientists are hoping to develop a coronavirus vaccine within 12 to 18 months."
New York Times: "scientists are racing to produce a safe and effective coronavirus
vaccine by next year. "
Not sure where his "October" stuff comes from. Maybe he could clarify.
Still Trump is wanting to not incite panic. Why?
What's the problem with panic? Panicked people DON'T spread COVID!
Calm people go out to eat dinner with their masks off, calmly, and *do* spread COVID, and die!
Is Trump suppressing panic *for* the economy?!
If the economy fails, will the pain and hardship be even worse for everybody?
Do you think suppressing panic for the economy is a good idea?
Employees and Consumers deserve honesty and protection.
