• Employees and Consumers Deserve Honesty and Protection

    COVID prohibitions should all be based on the principles of Employee and Consumer
    protections. Firefighters have to put their lives in danger. The general principle of employment law is the work ought not be unnecessarily dangerous, injurious, painful, or unsanitary/poisonous. If people had money so they didn't
    have to work, perhaps you could let them make their own decisions. As they have
    to work or die, you have to stop them from being criminally exploited. The other
    side of that coin is taking their job away, which means you have to provide them
    with an education and ability to find new employment.

    As for Consumers: Advisement, Marketing, Advertising, and Product Labeling should
    be required and regulated. Prohibition has no place for Consumers.

    Waiters and busboys don't produce equity - so why don't we just pay them to stay
    at home;

    And switch to all take-out.

    The restaurant will still sell as much food by take-out. People still need to eat.

    The restaurant will be able to get rid of dinning room costs, and thereby turn more a profit or reduce prices, as people are forced to not dine in.

    People eating and drinking, and talking with their masks off at restaurants and commercial parties, are the ones certainly spreading COVID. Commercial indoor entertainment which requires masks off, should probably be stopped in every State.
    People talking and socializing, face-to-face, while eating and drinking with their masks off, are likely spewing spit in each other's faces. (A drive-in theater, with a drive-thru restaurant, would be better though, and as to a comparison to the office...). This is entirely stupid for entertainment. The stupidest thing would be to be in a room with someone you're not going to talk to,
    for non-essential activities.

    The Restaurant industry employs 2.5 million waiters, and more busboys. Waiters and busboys don't produce any equity. We can thus afford them to still spend, if
    they are put out of a job. Employing people to commit self-harm and expose themselves to COVID for non-essential purposes, yet for your own entertainment, is
    criminal exploitation. We can still have business lunches if necessary on Corporate office building private terraces with take-out.

    It's been over 6 months. We have to make things sustainable now.

    We may have a vaccine in 6 months+, or not for decades. No one knows the future.

    It should be emphasized, that children can have friends over. In your own home you should only be having intimate parties with your close friends. Work from home if/when you can, should remain. We should raise the minimum wage to 65% per
    capita GDP of the County over the next year or two, and provide hiring incentives.
    Underemployment masks true unemployment.

    Wear a mask if you're liable to be in close proximity to strangers/those not willfully near you.
