The Incel (involuntary celibate) mentality leads at its most extreme
to active rage such as that which occurred in Plymouth. and that cannot

Not being a wow with the ladies is as old as the hills but until the past decade or so it was not thought to be grounds for violent attacks or
even complaining about the fact of de facto celibacy . In fact twenty
years or so ago a young man who complained about not having a a sexual partner would probably have opened himself up to ridicule from both
sexes.

Clearly something has changed and I suggest that something is feminism
which is devoted not only to women's issues but is increasing engaged in insulting men which ranges from complaints about women being unequal to
the hard core insults of the "all men are rapists" type and the idea of male privilege which mimics the white privilege insult .
I suggest that it is this hostile anti-male climate (together with the power of the internet) which has created incel as a movement .
