NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Legislation designed to restrict where certain drag
shows can take place passed the Tennessee Senate on Thursday, the latest
bill state Republican leaders have advanced targeting LGBTQ people.

Senate lawmakers voted 26-6 in favor of the bill, with only Democrats
opposing. The bill is slightly different than a version moving through the House chamber.

Under the Senate’s bill, the words “drag show” are not explicitly stated. Instead, the legislation would expand the definition of adult cabaret in Tennessee’s law to include that such “adult-oriented performances that are harmful to minors,” as defined in Tennessee’s obscenity law.

The legislation then bans adult cabaret from taking place on public
property or in a location where minors might be present.

“We don’t want to have the door open that they can go see advertent nudity and sexual acts or the depiction of sexual acts,” said Republican Sen.
Becky Massey. “I’m sorry, that’s not what Tennessee is about.”

One way of defining political power is when you make your enemies take positions, and in this case actions, that they would otherwise not. The
NJP, led by local Tennessean Carson, protested a drag queen story hour in Cookeville two weeks ago which resulted in these disgusting pedophiles
claiming their events are now 18+ and over. From their perspective, this totally defeats the purpose of their shows and was a victory for the NJP
and for anyone's child who has been subjected to this sexual abuse without
    any recourse.

Now the Tennessee GOP, in an effort to reclaim their fleeting relevance, is pushing a law that would ban adult cabarets that harm minors. While we got
them to react, which is far more than any conservative "activist" has ever accomplished, it is half measures. The only answer is to ban sodomy and prosecute pedophiles. Don't worry though, we'll get there soon enough.

One way of defining political power is

...to smear others with different lifestyles that don't happen to
conform to your own ideas of propriety, which is exactly what the
    Tennessee Taliban is doing now.

    The only answer is to

...execute hack politicians who try to cram their own idea of morality
down other Americans' throats in the false claim of "protecting our
    children."

Seeing gus in drag is sexual abuse?

Does that mean cable companies will
be prosecuted for broadcasting Some Like
It Hot and the Birdcage and MASH reruns?

    What minors have been harmed?
