US Senator Chris van Hollen (Democrat, Maryland) spoke of the war
crimes now being committed in Gaza:

    or

"Kids in Gaza are now dying from the deliberate withholding of food,"
Van Hollen said. "In addition to the horror of that news, one other
thing is true. That is a war crime. It is a textbook war crime. And
that makes those who orchestrate it, war criminals."

Earlier on Monday, Gaza's Health Ministry announced that more than
12,300 Palestinian children have been killed since Israel's war on
Hamas in Gaza began in October, the Associated Press reported.

    =====================

It amazes me that with a population of 335 million the US can come up
with better presidential candidates than an insane insurrectionist and
    an enabler of genocide.

But rebarbative as Trump is, with every day the mass slaughter in Gaza continues, Biden looks worse.

And even though what is happening is largely hidden from the public by
the censorship and spin of the US media, more and more people are
    becoming aware of it.

There are loud complaints about alleged Russian attempts to influence
US elections, but complaints about Israeli attempts to influence the
    elections are muted.

But as news filters through the spin curtain, Biden's electability
    diminishes.

    Can or can’t?

In all the good democracies, voters have a realistic choice of more than
two parties to vote for. And those running for election are not the ones running the election.
