This was very sad for for us;the people who grew up in Eden prairie. As an ADULT it does not matter about race,gender,or LGBT preferences, you do not engage in sexual acts with a child. Even if that child does try to come on to you or suggest sexual
activity. As an ADULT you say no.
Even if Grant was a willing participant doesn't mean he wasn't sexually assaulted, coerced,or manipulated into that seemingly willing position.
Gender identity and sexual preferences are hard for some young and old to figure out,accept,and love themselves. A predator will prey on the weak. Obviously the monster did things so yucky even he couldn't live with it and confessed to Grants parents. I
think if Grant seemed willing and they had a great ol time on that trip the relationship would have continued secretly. I was 12 when it happened but I never forgot Grant. Eden prairie had not had a big story like that in the past. We all remember it.
Just my opinion, years after the original posting but had to say my piece. -Hope.
