Habad by definition seeks a intellectual power.
The highest manifestation of the power is the Messiah.
People are unable to find the highest intellectual power by opinions.
Then the question comes down to a simple one: "Who from people is objectively smarter?". Objectively, but not thanks to opinions.
The most objectiv way to measure the intelligence is random intelligence tests where tasks are created by random numbers generator without any opinions.
