    Watching the video of the police cowering in fear while young children
    were being slaughtered turns my stomach. They had opportunities to
    stop him before the shooter entered the building and were in position
    to confront him just minutes after he was inside and instead they
    stood around doing nothing for 77 minutes. There was a small army of
    cops with ballistic shields that could have taken that shooter out if
    only the had had the courage to do so. Why were they only approaching
    the classroom from one direction? Why didn't they send shooters around
    to the windows. They could have come at him from three directions and
    he would have been a sitting duck.

    Those cops who stood around and did nothing for 77 minutes are a
    disgrace to the badges they wear.

    Thank Democrats for think-conditioning of law enforcement to stand around
    and watch instead of doing their jobs. Can't have cops arresting blacks
    or Mexicans intent on doing harm to other human beings.

    From what I understand, although I may be incorrect, the police commander at the scene ordered them not to go in.
    He bears responsibility for the police officers not going in immediately. Not the police officers under his command.
    When officers not subject to the local police command showed up, they went in immediately. I believe that these officers were with
    the Federal Immigration Enforcement service.
