Get everybody sick with that delta variant so we're all immune.

    Florida is thinking big.

At the MOMENT it has the lowest per-capita rate in
    the nation.

News which, unfortunately, has encouraged a lot of
people to lower their guard and declare "normal"
    is back.

With Omicron, "normal" is going to last about two
or three weeks longer. Then the hammer falls.

Of course it's going to fall on all the states, but
because it's lowest now Florida will be all the more
    in shock.

Alas there's still only very preliminary data to be
had about Omicron. Some claim the vaccinations are
considerably less effective at preventing infection,
though they DO seem to help ensure mild disease.
Others say it's no different than delta. Hospitalizations
are up dramatically in S.Africa though ... it SPREADS
a lot easier than Delta for sure - and I'd heard some
virologists say that Delta was the most contagious
    disease they'd ever seen.
