Saw a documentary, of sorts, on ancient Egypt
and, man, did they ever pick some fights...
#1. Smenkhkare never existed!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smenkhkare
Not according to this documentary. They claim
that between Tut and his dad there was a
female king, a very young one at that, and she
put an end to the reign of the Aten and the
restoration of traditional religion.
#2. They identified this female king as Dakhamunzu:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dakhamunzu
The most likely identity of Dakhamunzu is
Ankhesenamun. She was married to Tut, yes,
and without children Tut was replaced by Ay
who was a servant!
He worked for them!
So we have a deceased Pharaoh, a member of
the royal family staring down the potential of
becoming the wife of a servant... why not?
