"WASHINGTON — Sen. Josh Hawley chastised the State Department on
Wednesday for prioritizing weapons deliveries to Ukraine over Taiwan —
as the top Marine general warned that Washington is not moving fast
enough to prepare Taipei for a potential invasion by China.

“You are prioritizing arms to Ukraine over our vital security interests
in Asia,” Hawley (R-Mo.) wrote in his letter to Secretary of State
Antony Blinken. “This is not a tenable position.”

The US has sent Ukraine approximately $19.7 billion in military aid
since the beginning of the Biden administration, the vast majority after
Russia invaded the country Feb. 24."

    Real hard to know.
Who do you send to evaluate, and how much
    do you trust these sources?
It certainly helps the US, and all the free world,
that Ukraine has sent a clear message to the
smaller countries, try to prepare yourselves well.
For being invaded really hurts, but Russia can
be beaten back. If the citizens truly want
    freedom.
Arming Ukraine has caused the Russian Bear many
broken teeth and made all it's neighbors safer.

    Arming Afghanistan,,,, not so much.

Do the average Taiwanese citizens care very much?
Some say yes, some say no. I do not know.
Key question, do they have a leader who very
well represents living in freedom over living
    in authoritarianism?
That they are willing to fight for?
That they are willing to die for?
