Having recently bought a new pc, I've successfully loaded up Open Office and >am quite happy with it. I've now been sent a MS Access mdb database for a >project I'm volunteering on and don't have any software to open it on my new >pc at home. I have MS Access on my pc at work and can use the database
there, but would like to ba able to work on it at home too.
Can anyone suggest/recommend any inexpensive database software that will
read MS Access mdb files?
Thanks

More recent versions of Access use accdb files instead of mdb. I'm not
sure when Access stopped using mdb, but think it was several versions
ago.... The point being that maybe a copy of an older version of
Access could be had quite cheaply.
