Dear Researchers,
In 2014 a Hebrew translation of the first pinkas (from 1589) of Casale
was published by Magnes Press:

This is an important piece of history for Jewish Genealogists of the
Piedmont area (and specifically Casale and Alessandria, towns between
Torino and Milano). This area was one of the places refugees from Spain
went during the late 15th and early 16th so this book could be a bridge
between later generations and the Spanish period.
I wonder if anyone has delved into this volume which I cannot read in
Hebrew? Would it be worth translating for genealogical purposes?
Appreciatively,
