IGRA (Israel Genealogy Research Association) has posted a new article
on its website, "Ada Holtzman -- on the third memorial of her passing"
    by Ellen Stepak.

In this article, Ellen Stepak writes about Ada Holtzman's tremendous
influence on Jewish genealogy. The article includes information about
Ada's website, www.zchor.org, which is still in operation, the many
projects she was involved including the largest one on Gombin/Gabin
and a five-volume set of books on Jewish soldiers fighting in the
Polish army which she edited, among others.

Since 1995, Ellen Stepak has been actively researching her family's
roots, with ancestors from five modern-day countries. Ellen has
written several articles on topics related to her research, and
translating material from Hebrew to English. She has published three
family history books: We Were All Klutzes, about the Klots (and Kling)
families of Lithuania; The Werthans of Rotenburg an der Fulda; and The
    Brenn Family of Pinsk.
