    I am Patrick Blum, the eldest son of Eve Line Blum-Cherchevsky who is
    one of your correspondents.

    I am sad to inform you that our mother died on 26 September 2019, in her
    87th year, following a devastating illness.

    On October 1, she will join her husband Andre in the Memorial Garden at
    the Saint-Claude cemetery in Besancon.
