X-No-archive: yes
I am researching the family of a Moshe son of Rabbi David (of
Novardok) son of Moshe of Kletzk. The younger Moshe lived and died
(relatively young) during the 18th cent.
I don't know his or his father's family name, but his father was the
Rav of Novarodok during the 18th cent. (He was also known for his
book: "Galia Mesechet)
What I know about him: He married the daughter of a HOROWITZ from
Minsk and adopted his father's -in-law's familyname (probably due to
the Yichus or that he did not have a family name). He died relatively
young , possibly in his 30s.
One of the descendants of his father are AGOLNICKs but I do not know
if they are from the above moshe. Rabbi David also had a daughter
married to a RABINOWITZ who published his f.-I.-L's book "Galia
Mesechet.
My interest is that from famly sources (no official records, just
scribbled notes) we are related to Moshe's father,R' David. My
ancestors are also from Novarodok and we are somehow related to a
HOROWITZ.
