I was wondering if you ever found any information on Theodore? My great grandma was Anna Roenfanz. She married into the Schroeder's.

I *think* I'm researching the same name also. My mother had done research around 2000 and had the name "Renfanz", I now see via FamilySearch that some of the church records show "Rönfanz"; I am guessing that Roenfanz is the Americanized version.

My Rönfanz/Roenfanz is originally from Pomerania, Prussia, Germany.
The Antwerp immigration route is similar to my other ancestors, as well as settling in Wisconsin, Iowa, and Minnesota.

I have a Johann Erdmann (or G.) Rönfanz/Renfanz born about 1779. Died 8 February 1846 in Eschenriege, Newstettin, Pomerania.
He married Agatha Louise Priebe (spelling? because nothing links to her); their children: Charlotte Henriette, Wilhelmine Caroline Friederike, and Carl Gottlieb (b/d in Eschenriege).

Johann has a second wife: Henriette Louise Boettcher
