According to the Visitation of Nottingham sub Sutton of Averham is listed Robert Sutton d.1500 and his wife Elizabeth daughter of Thomas Stanley of the Pipe
Thomas is the son of John Stanley and Elizabeth Lathom.
Thomas is said to have two wives:
1.Maud Arderne. No daughter named Elizabeth
2.Elizabeth Langton dt. of Ralph Langton.
In a Visitation Record under "Langton, Baron of Newton" I find Ralph Langton son of Richard with wife Elizabeth Southworth. He has a daughter Elizabeth but she is listed with two husbands:
1.Nicholas Banister
2.Henry Byron
Is anyone aware of the ancestry of Elizabeth wife of Robert Sutton?
