    JOHN le POURE, of Cherlton, Burton & Garford, Oxon., Born c. 1210. In
    1224/5 he granted "a hide at Garford to his brother Roger, & John was still
    a tenant in 1242". He brought "novel disseisen against against Roger le
    Poure and Katherine, his mother, in respect of one hide of land in
    gareford, came & withdrew because she is his mother & Roger is his
    brother", 1225. In 1255 "Michael de Huchenden & wife Emme, Robert de Chaneleswell & wife Katherine gave the King a mark for an assize of novel disseisen against John le Poure & Richard his son for a tenement in
    Garford." He had issue: MGH VI, pp 363, 372, 373 & 374

    RICHARD le POURE, of Cherlton, Burton, Wendlebury & Garford, Oxon., He is mentioned in a fine concerning lands at Garford, 1259. He held the manor
    of Cherlton, 1278. In 1279 he held in Cherlton 4 virgates of land & 2 cottages of the Prior of Ware. He was enfeoffed with the manor of
    Wendlebury by Nicholas de Sifrewast & his wife Anne before 1279. Died by 1283. He had issue: MGH VI, pp 363 & 371 VCH Oxon VI, p 340

    WILLIAM le POURE, of Cherlton, Burton, Wendlebury & Garford, Oxon., M by
    1306 Margery (Living 1316/7 & 1332/3), perhaps d. of Richard Chasteleyn.
    He held the manor of Wendlebury "of Nicholas Syfrewast who holds of Aymer
    de St. Amand, who holds of the King", 1284/5. Died 1316/7. He had issue:

    of lands in Burton & Clanfield from Sir John Wroth, Kt., 24 Nov. 1385. Commissioner for Oyer & Terminer, 4 July 1387. He witnessed a charter, 20 Oct. 1387. J.P for Oxon., 20 Feb. 1394 & 28 June 1390. Coroner of Oxon., before 29 Nov. 1398. Died by 29 Nov. 1398. He had issue: MGH VI, pp 364 &

    Knt." in his Inq. P.M. Died 18 Sept. 1407 whilst still a minor. Inq P.M.,

    AGNES POURE, Born c. 1379. She was "aged 28 years & more" at her
    brother's Inq. P.M., 27 Sept. 1407. M 1st WILLIAM WYNSLOW, of Ramsbury, Wilts. (Died before 4 March 1414). M 2nd c. 1415 Robert Andrews, M.P., of Castle Eaton, Wilts. (Died 13 April 1437). Died c. 1442. She had issue:
