Can anyone make a brief characterization of the current state of archived postings for the newsgroup?

While it is true that I personally removed many/ most of my own postings earlier than ca. 2015 via the Google groups interface, I know I should be able to find certain postings (i.e., "post 2015" ones which I'm certain I did not remove) that are just no
longer being pulled up by searches on Google groups.

Does anyone else find that the current indexing on Google groups is lacking or spotty?

It seems that the Slektsforum site has a good chunk of older stuff, 2008 and before:

Narkive is still linking to more or less current stuff (caveat: ...with about a two-week lag), but is not searchable (one has to slog through the entire list, not practical for stuff several years back). Or is it actually searchable?

My impression is that the Rootsweb search is gone or totally broken, but maybe I'm wrong about that?
