Has anyone seen any other reference to a Warin son of Geoffrey Despenser?

Elyas Longus of Bristol, is referred to as an associate of Warin, son of Geoffrey Despenser.
Would it stand to reason that someone at the Court of the King, at Cricklade in August of 1228, would have known or recognized the name of Warin, son of Geoffrey Despenser.

[Elyas Longus de Bristol socius Warini filii Galfridi Despensarii, justiciarii, habet litteras de salvo et securo conductu et protection pro se et omnibus et rebus et catillis suis, duraturas usque in unum annum a festo sancto michaelis anno etc xij.
teste rege, apud Cricklade, viij die Augusti dated to 12 Henry III, 1228]

In 1228, Cricklade was held by Alan de Farnham, Sheriff of Berkshire... fast forward to 1256 when Alan de Farnham has likely died, we find that Gilbert de Elsfield had marired Julianna, daughter of Alan de Farnham and Gilbert now holds Cricklade. Gilbert
forfieted in 1264, and died abt. 1265.

Fast forward to 1358 and his descendant, another Gilbert de Elsefeld is the sheriff of Glamorgan(t) under Edward Despenser.
