Looking for the ancestry of Amice or Avice who married (1) Thomas Trimenel (Trymenel) who died around 1275 and married (2) bef. 1281 Eustace de Hacche. Dugdale states her seal showed a paternal coat of “three lions rampant.” Three lions rampant is
the same arms as William de Arden of Hampton Arden who died in 1276 who had a brother Richard that was declared insane. It seems both brothers did not have heirs and all their lands went to the next heirs, Margery and Amice le Megre who here
granddaughters of Olive de Arden, aunt to Willam and Richard de Arden. De Banco Edw. 2 m. 120d.

Margery and Amice married Philip le Lou and John le Lou (Wolf) and seem to have been entangled in a lot of land disputes in Warwickshire with Nicholas and John Trimenel, sons or heirs of Amice’s 1st husband Thomas Trimenel.
A lot of folks have Amice as the daughter of John le lou and Amice le Megre but the timeline does not work. Could this Amice have been an Arden?
On a side note, Amice and Eustace’s daughter, Julian married William de Hardreshull, Eustace’s ward. William’s grandfather another William de Hardresull d. 1262 married as his second wife Maud who married William de Arden in 1263.
