For what it's worth, LDS files (submissions, not extractions)list Katherine's father William, as son of John Bulkeley, son of Robert and Isabel de Egerton. Katherine's mother is listed as Margaret de
Molyneux, daughter of Sir Richard and Elizabeth de Stanley.
From Mr. Boyer's entry, I assume Ormerod doesn't provide Katherine's
place in the Bulkeley or Molyneux lines....can anyone provide
information on her ancestry?

Re Katherine Bulkeley she is the daughter of William Bulkeley and Christian Rivers the daughter of John Rivers.

Based on various documentation on William Bulkeley, he was a descendant of Christian Rivers (or Ripariis), daughter of one of several John Rivers (or Ripariis).

He appears to have lived until 1465.
He appears to be the identical with the William Bulkeley, justice of Cheshire, esq. of Eyton.
However, I would like to know if he is he same William Bulkeley that appears with a few sons.

I have not been able to find documentation on William Bulkeley's supposed daughters, one being the wife of Randall Brereton, or their mother. William may have married more than once.
I also trying to determine if an Alice Brereton, daughter of a Randall Brereton (of Malpas), and wife of William de Sondford (Sandford), mentioned in another thread on the Cuertons, could have been a daughter of this Catherine Bulkeley, but so far exact
dates are very elusive.
Another daughter of William Bulkeley appears to have been Maud, wife of Thomas Holford.
