Hi, I did some research at the National Library in Dublin on the Henneberry/Henebry lines in Co. Kilkenny. I came across several records for a Thomas Henebry married to a Catherine/Kitty/Kate Howley. They were from Cloncoony, Mooncoin, Co. Kilkenny.
I found birth records for several sons, including Philip, b. March 4, 1838; James, b. Aug. 4, 1840, John, b. July 15, 1835, and Thomas, b. April 14, 1833. Unless you have a birth record for Thomas from 1841, it's possible his date is off, as they often
are, when taken from marriage/death records. Additionally, it's possible that the first Thomas died and another was subsequently named after him.
I am also researching a possibility that Kate Howley died sometime around 1840 and Thomas remarried Mary Phelan (my 3x great grandmother). This is just a theory, since my Thomas was around the same age and also lived in Cloncoony.
