Hi everyone,
I'm looking for any information on my Dad, Charles Banim. He was born in Inchicore, Dublin in 1912 and lived in Marrowbone Lane , Dublin 8.
I have records on my Grandad and Great Grandad, and a picture of what I am pretty sure is my Dad's birth certificate, however on it his name is spelt Banning.
If I could obtain a baptism certificate for him in the name of Banim, then this would confirm that an error was made on his birth certificate.
I have tried to contact local churches in the area where he was born to no avail.
He had siblings but I can find no records of these other than an older brother listed on a 1911 census.
If anyone could help I would be most grateful.
