  • Presbytarian Parish records c1828

    I am new to Irish research and am stuggling to find a baptism relating to Catherine Forrester in Co. Antrim. I found some good avenues for Catholics, but not Prebytarians. Her parents are recorded as James & Elizabeth.
    Would anyone be able to suggest where I could explore? I have accounts with several of the commerial websites.

    Hi Campbell, Without a townland or a specific date my help is limited. Having said that try the following websites
    For Census records http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/ not greta pre-1901. For Civil and Church records https://www.nidirect.gov.uk/articles/search-gronis-online-records
    For Church of Ireland records (combined) you may need to visit RCB in Churchtown Dublin Ireland, https://www.ireland.anglican.org/about/central-offices/

    Here is an example for Census records 1901 (selected as the first detailed record) you may choose different dates. Note pre-1901 records in ROI are poor.
