Modern (I think since 1984) Death Registration Index entries show a
Register Number but when applying for a Death Certificate this is not
required, only Year, District Name & No, Entry No & DOR.
Why is the Register No shown in the Index? When citing the Index entry
as a Source should I be including the Register No?
