  • Norfolk wills

    Has anyone used the relatively new website of the old "Norcat"? I
    used to be able to look at the index for old Norfolk wills but I'm now
    totally confused as to how to find them anywhere.
    Any advice please?

    I've not used it so am not sure what you should be able to see, but you
    can search the catalogue using the advanced search at https://nrocatalogue.norfolk.gov.uk/index.php/informationobject/browse?showAdvanced=1&topLod=0

    It seems you need to search in Any field or Title for an individual name
    rather than Person

    I managed to figure it out from that. It seems you have to use the
    "and" function i.e. Norfolk (and) Wills (and) etc.

    There is a "Narrow your results by" at the top left column which has a selection of databases. Scrolling down the page to Genre gives Wills as
    an option
