• UK Government Probate web site

From john@21:1/5 to All on Wed Feb 9 14:19:01 2022
The Probate web site https://probatesearch.service.gov.uk is not working
(and hasn't worked since some date before 27 Jan 2020).

They decided to replace the web site with a new one which was originally
meant to be available after 4 February.

A beta version is now online but it doesn't work.

I have outstanding orders to collect. I get a page error if I use the
like which was provided to access them.

If I try to log in to access my account in another way I just get an error.

It is obvious no testing has been done. They ought to revert to the old
web site, which worked, until they have succeeded in getting the new
    version working correctly!

So many gov.uk sites are beta that it's impossible to escape the
conclusion that they think this means ready for production.

I was able to reset my password and log in to my account but the
unopened will, a duplicate ordered in error, which was there a few
weeks ago is no nonger there.
A will search sort of worked, except that the year's pages were
    presented in jumbled order.
    I've sent some feedback.

I still cannot log in and manage my account.
I've now found similar problems reported on the Lost Cousins forum which
I can read even though I'm not a member https://forums.lc/genealogy/index.php?threads/problems-with-the-probate-website.3396/

I've sent feed back for several days and had no response.
Reporting to the Government Digital Service just results in a message
saying the comments have been passed on to the HM Courts & Tribunals
team who manage the 'Find a will' service.
