I have been researching Maltese and have gotten a lot of information on the Italian presence but hit a wall as to Malta. I have been told that our last name "Maltese" was a description given to people immigrating to Italy from Malta. I have not yet
found our name prior to leaving Malta. If I get any leads on how to find that information I'll share it with you and would ask you share if you find out how to access those records. Thank you. Ken Maltese
