Looking to find a way to find records of a foundling born in Catania It

I am searching for my Grandmothers birth in Catania, she was a foundling I have her marriage certification which tells us that she was indeed a foundling, I have tried many different ways through mail and records. Is there any way to locate a birth of a
foundling? I am told her name is not the normal last name of a foundling. Any leads as to how I can locate the birth cert is appreciated. I am curious as why it states on her marriage cert. but nothing is available through that record.
