• Locating Grandfather's birth records San Gregario - Belluno

From Frank DiMercurio@21:1/5 to All on Mon Feb 13 16:50:23 2017
If anyone knows how I can see if my Mother's father's
birth records are in the Chisea De San Gregorio that would be
    extremely helpful.

He was born January 1st 1896
He grew up in this region including sheepherding as a young man

He moved to America, Detroit area in March 1913 by way of Havre, France shipping to his new future home.

Thank you for any assistance offered.

You probably misspelled Chiesa, which means "church".
The problem is that the city of Belluno has no churches dedicated to San Gregorio (St. Gregory).

start here... he must have been from san gregorio in belluno

    San Gregorio nelle Alpi

That's the name of a different town though. If he ends up searching
outside of Belluno, he might as well check all the churches dedicated to
St. Gregory in the same province, just in case.
