This is probably going to be somewhat surprising to receive a reply after so long, but I believe we are very distantly related.
Louis Dumat had 4 daughters, all told, one of whom is now called Marie Dominique Voisin. He also had a 'petit cousin anglais' called Henry David Aylmer Dumat, who is my father.
