I have ship records that show he immigrated to the United States. I have information on his life in America and would love any information found in France.

    Hello,

The vital redcords of the French department of Nord, including Lille, are available on line :
    http://www.archivesdepartementales.lenord.fr/?id=etat_civil (in French).

You should find there the records you are looking for.

    Best regards.
