My great grandmother is Ella Ernestine Gant (Lamoureux) b. 7-20-1907 d.3-3-1990 she is buried in St.Patrick's/St. Joseph's Cemetery Akron, IA USA

She is the daughter of Edward Lamoureux b.4-4-1869 of Beloeil Vercheres in Quebec. He was baptized at St. Mathieu Beloeil. He married Amelia (Rush) b.1878-d.1949.They were married 4-24-1895

Edward is son of Toussaint Lamoureux b. 3-1-1840 d. 2-8-1900 married two women. Isiade Raynaud (1842-1925) and Sophie Josephine Ledoux (1845-1925)

Toussaint is son of Clement Lamoureux and Apolline Lambert. Clement b.9-21-1810 Quebec d. 9-1-1889.

Clement son of Toussaint Lamoureux b. 1780 d. 1830 married Marie Duhamel

Son of Louis Lamoureux b. 1635 Normandy, France. Arrived 6-3-1664 confirmed age 25 by Bishop de Laval in Quebec. Married Francoise Boivin (1654-1717) they were married 1688 Longueil. Died 2-25-1715 buried Laval St. Francois de Sales

Arrived New France around 1662 served as hired man and land granted by master surgeon barber Jean Landry.
