    Hi,
I have two mysteries that I can not solve. The first is a John Stephenson B.Feb 2 1862 in England. His mother died and his father came to Brooklyn
with him and his younger brother William b.15 Sep 1863. His father's
name was Milburn Stephenson. I have found them in the 1870 census (mistakingly under Milla Stepheon) but I could not find them in the
1880.That is understandibly because the children were above age ten. I
found John at 13 in the State census of 1875 but I never found him
    again.

The second mystery concerns the woman that Milburn married when he
arrived here. Her name was Matilda McNulty and after Millburn died she
was listed as a widow (in the Brooklyn directories) in 1903. She was
living w/ her stepson William in the 1900 census but not in the 1910.

Both of these people just vanished! I have scoured the death
    certificates but to no avail.

    Any clues????? Please e-mail me.

    Thanks, Jack
