I think I could be descended from the sister of your Anthony (1755-1814)'s father, Anthony (1721-1755).
My Henry Griffiths (I believe) was bc1754 at Shotley SFK, the son of Charles GRIFFITHS and Alice MUNTON (m.1750 Wellingborough NTH). She was bc1725 the dau of Anthony and Alice MUNTON (Vicar) of Wollaston NTH. Charles was the son of Thomas GRIFFITHS
bc1726 of Wollaston. Anthony MUNTON bc1689 was the son of Henry MUNTON of Uppingham.
Charles GRIFFITHS was curate at Shotley, but appears to have ended up Chaplain of the 79th Regt in Madras, India arriving Sept 1758, dying there in 1768 leaving Henry an "orphan". Not sure what happened to Alice his wife.
