Does anyone know the history of the Broadbelts in Barbados?
I know there were many in St Kitts and Jamaica but according to what I have been told, my Broadbelt ancestry traces from a Broadbelt from Scotland who went to Barbados to manage his family's plantation and eventually ended up in Moruga, Trinidad.
I haven't been able to find anything that links the Broadbelts to Barbados thus far.
