My great grandfather John STORRAR born 1848 Fife, Scotland, was a plantation manager on Vryheids Lust East Coast Demerara for a number of years possibly between 1868 and 1876 when he married Mary CLARK at Montrose House. They are listed in the database
of British Colonists in Guyana.
John’s obituary in 1902 states that he was in Demerara for ‘a number of years’. I would very much like to know when he arrived and what he did when he was in Demerara.
